You may be thinking, "Don't you have anything better to do than photograph gravestones?"
Well, I think they can be very beautiful. Nowadays, most graves are simple rectangular slabs,
but older graves used cherubs, angels, and animals in their decoration. At right are some photos I
took at cemeteries in the Bay Area.
Graves can also give you the opportunity to re-visit history. Below are some gravesites of famous
(or infamous) people buried in the Bay Area. Clicking on their name will give you a short biography about
