Two Covered Bridges in Myrtle Creek, Oregon
Myrtle Creek, Oregon boasts not just one but two covered bridges. Nothing major happened here. I arrived, took a few photos and was on my way so I can't say too much about the town. But it seemed pretty nice for a small town and they've got a huge covered concert section in their community park, which I'm sure they use quite a bit. Here are some photos I took while there:

  • Horse Creek Covered Bridge in Myrtle Creek, Oregon
    Crosses: Myrtle Creek
    Length: 105 feet
    Year Built: 1930

Close to crossing in 1968, community volunteers coordinated disassembly and reconstruction of the bridge in 1990 at Myrtle Creek, where it was restored in a city park.

  • Neal Lane Covered Bridge in Myrtle Creek, Oregon
    Crosses: Myrtle Creek
    Length: 42 feet
    Year Built: 1929

This Kingpost truss bridge is one of the shortest covered bridges in the state, and the only one with this truss design.
