Trees of Mystery in Klamath, California
Lemme say that this was one of the best gift shops I've been in this entire trip! They have a great selection of Bigfoot stuff in the gift shop as well as lots of other stuff. I bought a t-shirt that has Bigfoot on the front and a giant footprint on the back. On the front it says: "Bigfoot stepped on me at Trees of Mystery, Klamath, California". A bit overpriced at $18.95, but well worth it IMHO. The last few photos are photos of older souvenirs and postcards.

Across the highway from Trees of Mystery is the Mystery Cafe. The food is pretty good, just regular stuff and the inside the cafe is decorated pretty unusually. I stopped inside to recharge my camcorder battery while I had lunch. I asked for my burger to be made med-rare, more on the rare side, and it arrived well-done. However, I'm smart enough to know that you NEVER, EVER SEND FOOD BACK unless you're not going to eat anything else cos you never know what the cook might do to the food you're planning on eating. Yikes. So I told the waitress to please remind the cook that med-rare means it's supposed to be pink inside, not look like a charcoal briquette. But I left her a decent tip anyway cos it wasn't her fault.

This is a 78-foot redwood which was gutted by fire in 1914, but is still growing. Walk through the doorway and you'll be standing inside the tree in a room which is more than 12 feet in diameter.
